Happy Birthday To Me.. =)

Today's my day.

I'm already 20, a teen no more.

All I want is to have more fruitful years to come and happiness, that's all.

Gifts are not that important anymore, as long as I have my family, friends and my other half who are always there for me.

THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THE GREETING, GUYS! =)

Quotes to ponder..

  • What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now.
  • I tell you everything that is really nothing, and nothing of what is everything, do not be fooled by what I am saying. Please listen carefully and try to hear what I am not saying. -Charles C. Finn
  • Notice the difference between what happens when a man says to himself, "I have failed three times," and what happens when he says, "I am a failure." -S.I. Hayakawa
  • Immature love says: "I love you because I need you." Mature love says "I need you because I love you." -Erich Fromm
  • Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within. -James Baldwin
  • I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But all of life's experiences, bad and good, make you who you are. Erasing any of life's experiences would be a great mistake.

It's a fiction, not a moral treatise.

Quills
Directed by: Philip Kaufman
Main Cast: Geoffrey Rush as The Marquis de Sade, Kate Winslet as Madeleine "Maddy" LeClerc, Joaquin Phoenix as The Abbe du Coulmier, and Michael Cain as Dr. Royer-Collard

I was astonished by this film. It was my first time to actually watch it during our Media Law class. Some scenes were too exposed but it fits the story well. This movie is definitely not for MINORS. Even I was looking away while watching some scenes that were not too good to the eyes. Marquis de Sade was a remarkable writer! You'll understand why if you get the chance to watch it. =)
